The SC Sourcing Suite product solution now includes e-tendering. The new feature is complete, and the first implementations have been carried out. This addition transforms the system into a true end-to-end solution for public procurement entities: the entire procurement process can now be managed within a single system, eliminating the need for separate tendering tools.
“E-tendering was the missing piece – now the entire procurement lifecycle can be managed through our system. From the beginning, it has been important for us to build a transparent and user-friendly service for the public sector, one that makes it easy to involve all relevant stakeholders, even those outside the procurement function.”

What E-Tendering Means in Practice
The new e-tendering tool enables the execution of tenders ranging from small-scale procurements to EU-level tenders directly within the system. At the same time, the system collects data from tenders to support data-driven procurement management. In practice, this includes:
- Managing tendering projects in compliance with procurement law, guided by the system
- Preparing requests for tenders using structured criteria
- Integration with Hilma for official procurement forms
- Automated receipt and comparison of tenders
- Supplier selection supported by the system.
“Bringing all procurements under the system improves traceability and reporting. Including small-scale procurements highlights purchases that often remain invisible and gives management a true picture of the organisation’s procurement activities.”

Compliance and Integrations
The management tool for e-tendering processes supports the most common procurement procedures under Finnish procurement law and guides users through the appropriate phases based on the selected procedure.
The tool is integrated with Hilma, allowing procurement entities to use official forms directly through SC Sourcing Suite. The system ensures the use of up-to-date forms, which are automatically updated in line with Hilma developments, such as the eForms reform.
Supplier Portal as the Public Interface for Procurement
The system’s Supplier Portal acts as the public-facing interface for an organisation’s procurements, displaying upcoming and ongoing tenders. Registered suppliers can manage their information, browse procurement notices, and see which market dialogues or tenders their organisation has participated in.
Through the portal, organisations can build a supplier registry with information on potential suppliers in their operational area, supporting strategic procurement management.
A Finnish Solution That Continues to Evolve
SC Sourcing Suite is built for the needs of Finnish procurement entities and supports national procurement development goals. The system combines best practices in procurement and covers the entire process – from identifying procurement needs to managing the contract lifecycle through e-tendering. Development continues in line with the evolving needs of domestic public procurement.
SC Sourcing Suite is available both as a product solution and as a tailored Enterprise version for different organisational needs. With e-tendering now part of the product solution, it becomes a comprehensive tool for managing procurements.
