CEO Blog: Key Milestones and a Glimpse into the Future.
The first half of 2025 has been marked by significant achievements for SC Software. In this blog post, I want to share my reflections on the most important developments, accomplishments, and lessons learned so far—and offer a look ahead at what’s to come.
A few years ago, we launched initiatives to systematically improve our operations. Our goal was to meet our customers’ expectations of a reliable, modern software provider. At the same time, AI rapidly entered the scene, and we’ve been closely following its impact—both on our internal work and the systems we deliver to our clients.
Highlights from Early 2025
We’re proud to announce that we have earned the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. This internationally recognized standard demonstrates our commitment to the highest levels of information security and continuous improvement. It also gives our customers added confidence that their data is safe within our systems. Read more in our announcement.
This spring, we also completed a major development effort in our procurement solutions by launching an electronic tendering feature as part of our comprehensive sourcing suite for the public sector. We’ve also made progress in delivering Source-to-Contract solutions for the private sector, and we aim to publish a major reference case later this fall.
AI at the Core of Development
We are investing heavily in AI capabilities across all our applications. Our goal is to ensure that every solution we deliver has AI-ready architecture from the start. This means that AI-powered features can be available immediately upon deployment, and further development is straightforward and flexible.
Our proprietary SoulGen development platform supports this vision by structuring core data and application architecture in a standardized format. This enables seamless AI integration and rapid iteration.
To support these ambitions, we’ve made a key hire: a seasoned expert will join us in August as Head of AI and Data. More details will follow soon.
Looking Ahead
The near future will be shaped by fully leveraging the AI-driven transformation—both in our internal operations and in the technologies we use to build applications. We believe this will bring substantial benefits to our customers.
Our offering continues to expand in the SaaS space while continuing to deliver tailored enterprise solutions. The progress we’ve made this year gives us a strong foundation for the next leap forward. Our goals remain clear: to grow, expand our market presence, and deepen customer collaboration.
Technology brings both opportunity and responsibility, and we want to be at the forefront of building a sustainable software industry—one where the systems we deliver create real value. Our solutions help customers bring transparency and insight to their processes, data, and impact—enabling better decision-making from both financial and sustainability perspectives.
Together with our customers, we’ve already achieved a lot—and together, we’ll continue reaching for new goals.
